Peanuts in the garden

A good weather at noon calls for a quick lunch (this is actually an unspoken/unwritten agreement among us, HRMD girls). When it is not raining, the wind blows just fine and the heat of the sun is regulated by the clouds, it is a-okay to leaisurely stroll within the school and then visit the nursery (yes, the place where the gardeners grow plants).

Both my officemates are plants enthusiasts and one of them has a small and starting-to-thrive flower arrangement business. These make our visits at the nursery beneficial (of course aside from relaxing) since our “How to’s” questions are given answers by the gardeners and sometimes we leave the place with a couple of young plants. *winks*

During our latest garden escapade, I took some snapshots of the ornamental peanut. I was simply captivated by its little, cute, yellow blooms.

The ornamental peanut (also called perennial peanut) is gaining popularity as a good ground cover since it is low-maintenance and drought-resistant.

BTW, I maybe just exaggerating, but these pictures remind me of the flower- filled hills described in fairy tales. *hehehe*

Sayang naman kung ganoon. Lately, madami ako nakikita na gumagamit nito sa landscaping. At ang ganda-ganda lalo na kapag maraming bulaklak… Maka- P-noy ang dating… lol
