Isn’t this beautiful? After spending some time in the library browsing flora picture books, I finally found out the name of this flower — Bengal clock vine (Thunbergia grandiflora Roxb). It is also called Trumpet vine or Skyflower vine.
A Bengal clock vine flowers is trumpet-shaped and has five petals which are white outside and yellowish inside (others have color blue-violet petals). Its flower is solitary and is found on the end of long penducles (stalk that supports the flower).
