
Bookmark project #2: Zinnia agustifolia
My second bookmark project is an attempt to come up with something like Zinnia augustifolia ( in cherry profusion). I used HMO card, nail polish, thread and needle, and pencil shavings in this project.
Please see the following features:
* the ray flowers are thin (or should I say, I made it too thin)
* I made sessile (stalkless) leaves and are placed opposite each other (tried hard)
* the leaves are not narrow enough (as it should be)
* pencil shavings served as the zinnia’s disk flower (flowerettes at the center)
For my Room for Improvement: I will try to make zinnia bookmark with wider ray flower, more distinct disk flower, and use other colors.
